His book : “AIDS, the battle can be won”[1] delighted me as much as when I read the novel “the Lion” of Joseph Kessel[2] 20 years earlier. Both books shared the exotic land of Africa as a theater of human discoveries and wonderful encounters. The founding belief of this visionary and deeply human physician, which was later included in the articles of association, is that each community has the ability to meet life's challenges, build a common vision, act and adapt. His association, the "Constellation" reveals and nourishes this ability during meetings where the appreciation of the strengths and successes follows dreams and self-assessments.
